Pinpoint conception?

If we had intercourse/conception exactly 7 weeks ago would I/baby be exactly 7 weeks? How exactly does this work? Trying to pinpoint conception. There’s a day that I think we conceived and it would be right around the age of the embryo from ultrasound. Off by maybe a day or two. Wondering because baby is smaller than is should be based off “LMP” and my cycles are irregular and quite long. Any advice would be appreciated!! Thanks!

All medical personnel calculate how far along you are by the first day of your last period. Even though when you think about it doesn’t make sense and puts you further along then you are but there is really no way you to tell the exact day you implanted even if you know the day you ovulated. The ultrasound tech is suppose to measure the baby and give you a more accurate due date and be able to tell exactly how far along you are.

the measurements they use are always +2 weeks from conception (or estimated) so when you go to an us and they say you are "measuring 7 weeks" that means conceived/ovulated 5 weeks ago. but there can always be a variation because you can ovulate early/late and implant early/late
of course this is all based on a "normal" 28 day cycle.
