Phoenix for a boy name?

Love the name Phoenix for our son, but I am wondering if it’s too out there. Husband and I traveled to Phoenix and stayed for a few months before conceiving and it was such a fun adventure! With our son being our next adventure it feels fitting!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. 
I am so tired of the same names over and over, I was 1 of 3 in my classroom with my name it was horrible. 
we are having a boy and naming him Fox. I've had some strange looks but who cares. the kid will be loved and that's what matters in the end.
