Black Mirror: S04 E02

I thought this would be interesting and as I haven’t seen anything about it yet I thought I’d post the poll. (Correct me if I’m wrong and this is already up of course)

A new piece of child safety technology pops up, Arkangel. It’s an implant inserted into a child’s temple. It feeds vitals, visuals (what your child is seeing) and location to a tablet which the parent has access to. If your child goes missing you can enter a pin and an instant alert is sent to the police. There is also a filter option to directly influence what your child is seeing, here are a few examples of what is filtered.

A woman mourning and crying, the sounds of her sobbing are muted.

A barking dog.

A boy cursing and making violent gestures

Blood, real and illustrated.

Here is what the feed looks like from your child’s eyes to the tablet.

So the question is would you use this? Assuming it cannot be hacked in anyway, of course.
