Baby formula??

Question

I switched my one month old formula last night from Similac advanced to gerber sooth since she is colicky. I've noticed that with this new formula she is eating a lot less maybe an ounce at a time. Whereas her last formula she would gulp down 3-4 ounces at a time. Is this normal?? Should I keep her on this new formula or switch her back? I'm afraid she isn't eating enough now

When u switch a baby's formula it takes a few days for their tummies to get used to the new formula. They can't handle change like a toddler can because they're still developing (idk if that's the right word). Give it a couple days and then see if it's any better. I know with my first we tried everything for his upset tummy. Ended up having to use similac soy.

Did you talk to her doc before you switched her? You may also notice constipation, I had to give my daughter suppositories! With my daughter who was colicky, I gave her less ounces but much more frequently! You can try that
