A Rant

I just have to have a little rant on here about double standards in the gay community. I really don’t get how so many people can be hateful when you get pregnant and are gay JUST because they know you had to plan it. Too many people have friends/family that get pregnant and they are excited for them, no matter their age. BUT if you are a gay couple & pregnant its a huge deal only because they know you had to plan it. My rant is basically because I’m tired of hearing people tell me about my age(18) and getting pregnant. Because in reality, tons of people under 18 get pregnant on accident but people will call that miracles. I feel like a baby in itself is a miracle. If you are financially able to support a child and are willing to love and raise that child with everything in you, then why should it matter BUT to so many it really does matter just because you purposely will be doing it. In the same breath though, since other people have babies on accident at younger ages its okay because it happens but a person wanting to bring life into this world on purpose with someone they love is a big deal? Anyways I just think a baby is a miracle, planned or not planned; at any age. That’s all for my rant, I am just at awe in how people react.
