Tmi breast pain

Yesterday I woke up with really bad breast pain felt like my right nipple was burning whenever anything touched it. I tried to do a breast exam but painful stabbing pain when I tried to exam the breast. I went to the hospital without a bra and I held my shirt so it didn't touch my breast. The Dr basically said it was hormones because he didn't feel any lumps. With pain medication it does not hurt but without it hurts still. I am in no way pregnant. But ever since I gave birth Oct of 2016 my right nipple has been inverted which I assumed was due to pregnancy changing my breasts. I did not breastfeed. The first picture is the breast that doesn't hurt and the second picture is the one that does. I will add that when the breast is causing pain the nipple is outward and hurts to touch. I made an apt to an obgyn but its two weeks away. Anyone have a similar experience?
