Copper IUD-Severe Cramps

So earlier I was in planned parenthood and decided to get the 12 year copper IUD. I felt okay during and after just a little normal light headedness. My question tho is I never experience cramps during my periods but have a high tolerance for them. Except it is about 11 hours since I’ve gotten the IUD inserted and for about three hours straight now I’ve been feeling very severe cramps. Any thoughts to get rid of it or do you think it’s a sign of my body rejecting it?
