Pregnant- post m/c and d&c

Not sure what’s going on and if I’m pregnant. I had my last period sept 10th. Was pregnant soon after but had m/c . Was unable to m/c on my own so had d&c; nov 21. Went to dr 2 weeks post op and everything looked good so he said we could start trying before I got my period. We started trying early dec. it’s now January and still no period. Did have two days of tiny brown discharge around period time then nothing. Took test Monday night and this morning both negative. Have cramps, back ache, sore breasts, headaches.

Could it just be too early? Is is something else? Should I retest this weekend or later?

My pregnancy with my 13 yr old was positive tests no questions so this is throwing me for a loop.
