IUI!?

I was told the only recommendation I had was to see a specialist and maybe try an IUI. from those who have done it: pro's and con's. How many rounds did you have to do? did it work? did you just get the one, or multiples? How did it affect you? What is something you would tell someone considering to do this, good or bad. Did you conceive naturally after that? How did your husband/partner feel about trying this? All the help I can get would be great.
