Anyone else?

Question

For as long as I can remember i have wanted nothing more than to be a wife and mother. Now im 19 and have my life all together i have a good paying job and a great social life. However i cant help but feel like I’m empty inside. Like my heart is missing something. I then came to the realization that it’s because i am truly ready to find my true love and have the beautiful babies ive been dreaming of since i was 10. At this point idk what to do. I am currently getting to know someone however when kids or marriage is mentioned he says that’s something he wants someday. Idk i guess im just impatient. Any advice?

Try not to be impatient. It's not what you want to hear, but you're only 19 and you have plenty of time to have kids. Have fun, be young. Make sure that you're stable and in a happy, healthy relationship before you bring a baby into the mix. Being a mom is great, but girl it is the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life. There have been days I've actually wondered if it's possible to die from being sleep deprived. Having a baby changes literally EVERYTHING about your life. It pushes you to your absolute limits. I love my son and I wouldn't trade him for anything, but I had no idea it would be this hard.

See a therapist to ensure your reasons for being a mother so early aren’t misguided. You have 20 more years to become a mother. Just make sure you find yourself first.

I was the exact same way at 19!!! I got married at age 20 and had twins at 23. I was young but it was all we wanted. We're 26 now and we're very happy with the way things went.

Ooo yes I’m in your same position however I’m with my boyfriend for almost 2 Years in February. 
I don’t judge you at all for wanting kids and wanting to be a wife cause girl I’m soooo ready for that too. Which is why we are TTC this month ( exciting! 😁) 
However I will say if you want to start your family just be sure it’s with the person you trust and that person is ready too? 
I grew up thinking I would be single for the rest of my life and prepared to be a single mom by like IVF or something (I was determined lol). Nothing wrong with being a single mom I was raised by one and wouldn’t want it any other way. 
Luckily I met the love of my life. My boyfriend is best friend and I trust him with my life. I can’t wait to start a life with him and we know we are both ready. We made that choice together.
When I wanted to TTC I couldn’t force that idea on him. It had to be a decision we made together because the child is ours. So just make sure your on the same page? That could make things less stressful in my opinion but best of luck hun.

It was all I ever wanted since being a little girl too! I got married at 21 (which is still pretty young) and had my first at 25, now pregnant with number 2. Marriage and babies are hard work, as fantastic as they are! Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to do it all right now, instead take time to get to know the guy to make sure he’s the RIGHT guy and enjoy yourself. If it’s right then go for it. If it’s not then don’t stress. You have plenty of time to find your man. Instead of making it a plan you want immediately, turn it into your five or ten year plan. So for instance, by the time you’re 30 you’d like to be married and at least pregnant. It keeps it your goal without putting pressure on yourself. Good luck!

Wow....19. Going back to school is always good for filling a void, if not in your soul, then your head. You’d be amazed at what you don’t know. If you just graduated, taking a gap year and traveling or doing some charity work can really be fulfilling. I’d say get it all done now, because it’s not gonna happen when you have kids.
