It is possible for the OPK to not pick up your LH surge but it is NOT possible to have ovulation occur without a LH surge. The rise of LH is what triggers ovulation.

Ehhhh I’ve never heard this. While it’s true getting a LH surge doesn’t mean for sure that you will ovulate i didn’t think it was possible to ovulate without the LH surge unless you were on medication for it. Although I feel like it could be possible for your surge to just not be big enough to register on an OPK.
