If your dad delivered babies would it be weird if he delivered yours?

On YouTube someone asked if her dad will be delivering her baby, and everyone thought it was weird. She was younger and probably didn't look at all sides of it. What do you think?

hes not only her father but an experienced medical professional. those are both fantastic reasons why he should deliver her baby. anyone saying no is NASTY. stop sexualizing men and their daughters.

Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with it. He sees a million vaginas, and most people in that field do not think of birthing babies as a sexual experience. There’s also the benefit of having her father as her doctor, he would not neglect her like so many doctors do to mothers about to give birth. He will also be more inclined to listen to her wishes. So she would actually get better care if her dad was the one who delivered her baby. It would be his grandchild so safety would be a priority.

Tbh I’d feel a lot more comfortable if my dad delivered my baby😂 I know he’d be super careful and tbh it’s not weird about him seeing my parts cause he seen it before when I was born not much has changed 😂

I the US, doctors are held to standards set forth by the American Medical Associations Code of Medical Ethics that state that physicians generally should not treat themselves or members of their immediate family. I don’t think there’s an actual law, but most hospitals (barring special treatment) will not allow a doctor to treat their family members. 
Now, if it’s a home birth, it’s kind of a moot point who delivers the baby. But I would definitely not want a family member to do it.

I’m pretty sure doctors don’t usually treat family members, but it’s not weird. There’s nothing sexual about giving birth or delivering a baby. A vagina is a vagina. I wouldn’t mind if I were close to my dad.
