Fingertip Dialated?? So ready

I have been having contractions off and on for two days and my husband finally talked me into going to the hospital so we went early this morning before any of the other kids woke up and able to stay home alone. I was scared but excited. I'm due in a week. We get there to find out i just started dilating so now I'm scared to go back because I dont want to be sent home again. My husband has to go to the Philippines for 10 weeeks soon which I am so sad about so how can i get this kid to come now?? Help

I'm in the same boat. I'm 36w 3d, 2 1/2cm and thick. My Husband leaves again for work on June 10. Dr said he won't induce until the Friday after he leaves, but we are hoping I will start labor on my own come the next 2 weeks my husband is home.  Going to try walking, sex and bumpy roads come the weekend. After dr checked me I started having mild small contractions.

3 days later and I'm still pregnant. I have a doctors appt tomorrow and a sonogram to get the size and weight. Oh well wish me luck. Maybe something will happen today. i dont want to be induced. I have been before and you just sit there in pain then they give you something for the pain. Ugh. I want it nice and quick.

Up and down the stairs will help you dilate quicker... I am soo scared I am sure I am having contractions but also dont want to go to the hospital to be sent home. With my little girl i nearly had her in canteen toilets (at hosp) because I wasnt in 'enough'  pain for them to check me. Turns out my back pain was contractions and I was 10cm. Scared this will happen again but I won't be in the hospital.
