Spotting/period irregular???

I have high blood pressure so I’m on a mini pill (Cerazette?) as a form of contraception because of hormones and what not. I’ve been on this for half a year or so yet in the last few months I’ve been getting really irregular periods about every 2 weeks (that last 8 days too 😩) and sometimes spotting. Is this normal? I’m so sick of getting my period all the time. Is it worth sticking it out so my body gets fully used to the pill or worth seeing my doctor? I don’t lots of contraceptive options due to my Hypertension 😞
