Condom allergy??

Question

Friday night we grabbed a cheap box of Durex condoms from Walmart to use that night. I started itching Saturday morning, then I got my period that afternoon... long story short, I am still itchy. I’m not sure if I’m getting a yeast infection (I had one while pregnant and it was AWFUL), or suddenly developed a condom allergy. HELLLLPPP.

You can buy kits from chemist that can check your PH balance but I’m in the UK. I’ve never had a yeast infection but maybe try look and see if that is the issue rather than an allergy first. You could also try latex free next time? I occasionally get dry/itchy on my period because of tampons and chemicals in pads it can be quite tough on your body. Try not to worry x

We haven't used condoms in years but when we were, I think I was allergic to the spermicide of certain brands. Some brands would make me burn and feel irritated right after using them and then would go away after a short time. We had to stick with Trojan brand, they never caused a problem.

Try to drink lots of water and cranberry pills in case you have a yeast infection

You might be allergic to latex there’s other options out there let your cookie heal before trying another type I’m allergic to some lubricants I can only use water base ones
