what would you do if you were in my position?

Okay, so my bf/babys father just told me he's got a game on the 28th of January. I don't have a problem with him playing basketball. But the thing is, its a day before our son is supposed to be born (via c-section). He doesn't live with me, he lives almost a hour away. However, he does stay with me whenever he can. Anyways, how do y'all think I should approach this situation? I just found out about this 10-15 minutes ago.

I would remind him about the date and see what he says..... I’m sure he’s not planning on missing the birth, I would ask if he planned on coming over after the game or the next morning.

I don't see a problem with it if it's just a couple hrs. Ask him to check his phone periodically in case of emergency. Even if you did go into labor, if you need a c section you couldn't wait the hour for him to drive you to the hospital anyway if he lives an hour away, you need back up transportation.
