Tongue piercing?!

I want to get my tongue pierced, but I’m afraid of how bad it will hurt or how easily it gets infected if at all. I’m really good with pain most of the time, so on a scale of 1-10 how bad is it? How hard is it to keep clean and does it get infected easily?

Lots of people claim it doesn’t hurt. Mine hurt like a motherfcker. Maybe because my tongue is pretty short so itspierced slightly closer to the tip I think. But on the pain scale for me it was about a 7-7.5 and I have 13 piercings including a genital one. But it does heal very quickly and it’s one of my favourites now. It might swell a lot so suck on some ice cubes and take Advil. Make sure you downsize the bar even if you think you don’t need to to prevent tooth and gum erosion!

mine was a 0 initially (like the needle going through) its more of an anxiety thing that gets you but afterwords the process is about a 3 in annoying and do not try eating hard food i tried eating pizza and french fries and lemme tell you!!! that shit hurt like a mother fucker for about 4 days then after 7 days you wont notice its there besides the long bar but then a month later when u change it youll forget about it. its worth the healing process its my fav piercing

i had mine august 2016 it fell out 5 weeks after but got it repierced in june and i still have it.

I also want my tongue pierced but I'm too scared my sister and brother has it  and they love it ....I'm stuck on deciding because my pain tolerance isn't that strong so I'm just like 🙊

it doesn't hurt.. May be like a 2 on the pain scale.. it'll be swollen and a little sore for the following day. It's heals quickly and is easy to clean.
