how do people fall in love? is it instant? does love have a waiting time? What is the difference between love and In love? whats a soul mate? and how do you know?

Answer

It depends on the person. Mine happened gradually. Love and in love, in my opinion is: love is the constant, every day feeling and action. Love has its ups and downs and goes beyond just feeling it. You have to act on it. In love to me is that temporary "honeymoon" feeling that comes and goes when you and your partner are just really into each other. Then it fades for a time, then the fire lights again. I don't believe in soul mates. I do believe in someone just being that person you want to be around, that you love and LIKE them. I called my SO my human, because he just gets me and we are so compatible.

I believe in list as first sight but not love- because to truly love someone you need to know who they are! I don’t think there’s a set time frame as you can get to know people at different rates depending on how often you see them, your personalities, etc.

It’s not instant. You can feel a connection worth exploring further at a first meeting but real love is something that comes from sharing life’s ups and downs with someone. 
I knew there was something special about the first date with my husband, and I knew I wanted to keep seeing and talking to him. But it was seeing the consistent grace with which he handles a disability that would leave many seriously depressed, the level headed treatment of delicate situations, the empathetic way he helped me through tough times that really made me love him. Three+ years in with a baby, family death, moving under stressful conditions, and cancer has shown that I was absolutely right about him.
