How would you feel if you were told by your parents that you were adopted only to figure out that your not?

My sisters GRAND idea is to tell her kids that they were adopted for their whole life then one day tell them that they weren't. I told her that she was crazy, what do you think?

Why would anyone lie to their children? If she does this, her children will be angry and believe their parents cannot be trusted. I would never speak to my parents again if they did this. I sincerely hope she changes her mind.

Yikes. Little white lies like Santa is real is to spark the imagination and create Christmas spirit. It’s all in good fun. 
Her idea of a funny like will 100% ruin her relationship with her kids. Someone in my family has lied to their kids about other things. Now that they are older they harbor resentment and hardly talk to their mom.

My did this when me and my sister were kids my sister thought he parents were these cermaic elephants we had and I may have had a strong belief my mother was Kerry Washington. Looking back it was pretty funny.

UPDATE: my sister says: You would still love the child as if they were our birth child. You would tell them stories and give them hugs and kisses you might even hen their older with what their birth parent might have been like.
When they turn 16 or 18 you tell them that you are the birth parents and you did that to boost their self confidence. Is it still a bad thing???

UPDATE #2: my sister says: It's not like your telling the kid that you hate them because their adopted its because you had the ability to choose them. Your not gonna have the relationship between the child like The Durleys had with Harry Potter were not gonna stick the child into a closet. You love the child so what's wrong with that.
