Christ in school

Ok, so I'm seeing a lot of Christians advocating for "Christ to be back in our schools". You know, like Christian kids are the only ones who attend school. And frankly, I think it's annoying as hell and rude. I don't need to have Jesus shoved down my throat in school. I don't need it shoved down my daughter's either (but I'm homeschooling her so that's not even a problem. I don't understand WHY Christians feel like they're the only religion deserving of recognition places, but frankly it needs to stop. You are not the only one, you do not get special privileges. Ok, you do, but it isn't fair. And no, no one is asking for Allah, Jewish people aren't complaining. Nor is any other religion. Just Christians. So this is directed towards you. I simply want to know why. Why do you feel I must have your religion shoved down my throat in school? Why?
