Baby's SS card?

When will I receive my baby's social security card?? Monday made a month that he's been born. I filled out the info for the birth certificate two weeks ago and already received it in the mail. So when will his social security card come in? & is there any faster way for me to obtain it?

Honestly had it happen to me I had to go to the social security office and reapply for it because some how it got lost in the mail or someone accidentally got it and threw it away instead of resending back out!

Got mine in 3 weeks in Washington state. I think I saw a chart with different timelines for different states but most were 2-4 weeks! It felt like it took forever because I was waiting on it to retroactively add her to my insurance...

I just got mine and he is five weeks. They said it can take up to eight weeks.

My sons never came, they said sometimes the post office will return them if the name isnt registered to that mailbox or something like that so I had to in and order another one 🙄

My soms never areived! I had to go to the ss office after 7 weeks and constant calling to order a new one! If this ends up happening make sure to bring a recent copy of your childs immunization record... for whatever reason they require further proof that your child is loving besides the birth certificate (at least thats the case in Indiana)
