Need to socialise!!!

I have no friends. Literally. I barely have any family and I am quite iscolated. I am so beyond lonely. I was wondering if anyone knew of any online sites /apps (not Facebook) that I can visit and find friends. I don't want any dating sites, I am in a relationship. I just need friends. People who share the same interests as me. I am based in the UK. Can anyone help please? I have no idea how to do this and the area I live in is full of strange ones. So going out to meet people is a no, no. I have tried and all people want to do here is drink or take drugs. Either that, or they are just plain stuck up and rude. I know all of this seems really stupid I just don't know what to do. I feel so lonely.
