I have an 8 month old. He typically sleeps from 7:30pm-6/6:30am and then we get up have a bottle, some food which lately has been about 4oz of carrots/apple purée, then about 2 hours after he wakes up he gets sleepy and down for nap #1. So I have about an hour in there where we play. I’m just curious what other stay at home moms do with their kids during play time. We have a mat on the floor and some toys he can pull up on and stand, books to mostly drool on and try to put in his mouth, balls that he loves rolling. But basically it’s a little hectic, going from one toy to the next climbing sitting rolling standing, pulling up on me climbing over me, etc. for an hour I feel like I’m either being a good parent or giving him too much to do and look at so he’s being ADD already! So just curious what other moms do during play time with their ~8 month old. And if you know what do daycares do? Same thing? Just let them run free aimlessly with a bunch of toys?
