Veteran husband denied Life Insurance from USAA because of PTSD
Hubby is a retired veteran from the army. He fought in war and developed a few health issues, including PTSD. He then was shot by another soldier 13 times, and was medically discharged from the Army. During the process of getting out of the army, he missed the time frame of applying for the life insurance they offered. He was busy going through therapy since he couldn't walk, and going to court against the other soldier, and dealing with PTSD that he never once thought about it. Fast forward 8 years and 2 kids and another on the way, we REALLY REALLY want to secure their future, but it seems impossible to get him on life insurance since he's been denied multiple times primarily because of his PTSD. USAA which is a company meant for military families were the first to deny him. Then along with 5 or 6 other companies. Can we get any recommendations pleaseeeee! We don't know what to do anymore 😟
