Oral herpes?!

Okay so I am on period and break out relatively bad. On my cheeks and on my chin usually. But yesterday I had smoked with my friend and some of his friends. I now have a pimple on my lip that I've popped 3 times in just today. It popped up the morning AFTER I smoked with my friend and his friends... My dad told me "Be careful who u burn with" and said it might be herpes but I genuinely feel like it's a pimple😭 can someone help!

Be careful not to pop it or else it might spread whether it’s acne or herpes it may happen.

Looks like a normal spot/pimple to me.
Oral herpes normally shows in the form of a cold sore which will feel tingly until it forms into a blister and then eventually scab over.
Keep the area clean and absolutely do not pop it. If it should turn out to be a cold sore, you'll only be spreading the infection if you do.
If you feel any discomfort or pain, holding a cold compress like a wrapped ice cube to it can really help, whether it's a spot or a cold sore. A cold compress can actually be very affective in aiding the healing process of a spot too.

either way if it is a cold sore, they’re not that big of a deal and allot more people get them than you think. but if it doesn’t turn out to be a cold sore– get medication for it, don’t let people drink after you, don’t kiss anyone, and don’t do anything sexual with anyone or you could risk giving them the real herpes virus. it’ll clear up soon if it is. but it looks like a regular pimple to me

Oral herpes look like regular pimples. Do you feel a tingling sensation from it? Is it more painful than an average pimple? When you pop it what comes out? If it keeps rising and looks like that I would say it's a cold sore
