Baby Ben is finally here!
On Wednesday morning 01/03 I went in for my 38 week check (38+2) I was dilated to a 2 and 85% effaced. But when she really got in there she said my fluid seemed low, so I was sent to L&D; for an ultrasound and just to monitor him. Around noon a nurse came in with a gown and bedding and told me to get comfy. I got my ultrasound and his fluid was okay. They took a urine sample and found some proteins and infection. They believe my water broke on New Year’s eve and now I most likely had an infection in my placenta. On top of that I all of a sudden had high blood pressure and was diagnosed with preeclampsia. At 9:30pm they started my pitocin. At 7am the next morning 01/04 they broke my water. At 8:30am they gave me my epidural. I began off and on pushing at 10:30am and my amazing, handsome, little man was born at 12:55pm. 8lbs. 5oz. 20 1/2in. Benjamin Louis Orion 💙
