When to test again

I took a test the day before af was due and it was a vvvvfl that was able to be seen when tweaked. I am now 4 days late and took a test this morning as its my husbands birthday and was going to surprise him if it was positive. And it was the same. When should I test again?

Was the test line more noticeable the second time? It should be darker the further along you are. I would do another test every morning for a 7-10 days and if it doesn't change I'd assume it's negative but you could always visit your DR who could do a blood test to say 100% yes or no.
