How often does your baby eat?

I know every baby is different but I’m curious how often others nurse. 
My daughter will be 5 weeks on Friday and she seems to be hungry almost every hour. It’s a miracle if we can make it 2 hours during the day and she doesn’t want to eat. 
She can sleep well and won’t wake to feed, but while she’s awake she just wants to eat. 
Should she be going through longer stretches to eat or is this pretty normal?

This is very normal. Infants range from eating every 2 to 4 hours. As she gets older she will eat more and feel sated so she can last longer. Also research cluster feeding. That's a normal stage infants can experience as a part of growth spurt. You're doing great mama, just feed at least 15 mins on each side to make sure she's getting enough.

everything Alexandra said, but I also want to add that when they say every 2-4 hours that is from the start of each feeding. I wasn't aware of that myself. I was thinking that's the time I should have between feedings, not in total. it'll get easier Mama, you're doing a great job!

For the first couple months, every 1-2 hours around the clock. Now every 3-4 hours. He's 6.5 months.

My son woke up to eat every 1-2 hours for the first 2 months of his life (he was a month early). But during the night I got about 45 minute cat naps between each feeding xD it was terrible.

My baby is almost three months now and still eats every two hours and is formula fed. Sometimes he wants formula every hour and a half. He sleeps all through the night but from 4am til about 9pm he eats every two hours.
