Hcg levels and ectopic

Monday my levels were 10,000 and yesterday (48 hours later) they were 19,600. Doctor said once the numbers get that high they don’t double as much. Do increased levels rule out ectopic? Even tho my doctor said my numbers look good I’m still scared for ectopic bc of having more noticeable pains on my right side. Has anyone had there numbers go up but end in ectopic?

I’m 6 weeks and my ultrasound isn’t for another 2 weeks when I’ll be 8 weeks
