Induction thoughts/personal experience

So my doctor told me today that she would like to induce me at 39 weeks if I’m still measuring big at my next ultrasound at 36.5 weeks. I’m currently 33.5 today. I have had a big baby boy and he’s been measuring big for months now by at least 2 weeks. My due date originally was Feb 18 then they moved it when I was 10 weeks to the 24th. My hubby was 10.5 pounds and I was 8.5 pounds at birth. My doctor is concerned with him being so big that I will end up having a c-section (yes I know that, that is a possibility with induction any ways). He has been head down since I was 18 weeks and his head sit right on my cervix. Just want to know personal stories about induction and thoughts. This is my 1st child and my doctor didn’t even think I will even make it to 39 weeks but would like to induce if I do.
