Ex husband hanging out with new boyfriend😬

So before it sounds super duper crazy, I am in a triangle situation, my boyfriend who was once just a friend, used to be friends with my ex husband, who left me back in 2016 for another woman. My boyfriend now of 7 months was friends with my ex husband for many years until he had moved to Michigan, he was there for 4 years and rarely heard from my ex husband. Well we started dating in July and it of course was awkward for everyone, my ex husband is an asshole and talks a lot of shit and a lot about him. He lies constantly about things and tries to make me second guess my relationship because of my boyfriend’s past relationships from when he was a kid basically. Today they hung out for the first time in a long time, I feel he is trying to set my boyfriend up for failure or something because he wanted to get shit faced drunk before taking my boyfriend to work🤦🏽‍♀️ am I crazy or does it sound like a fucked up situation🤭
