Oh this is so tough!! Because the truth is unless you’ve suffered the struggle - you can’t really understand & she won’t. Ppl say things like “well any baby in the family is better than none” and “well at least you’ll be an Aunt”. Just control your time around the new baby craziness so you can be happy & supportive but not feel trapped & bitter about it.

My sister got pregnant one month...accident...on the pill! I have been TTC to conceive for nearly a year. Our time will come and what will be will be, just got to keep everything crossed! 🤞🏼

I have gone thru this so much with friends and family alike. I’m never unhappy for them but I️t definitely gets me in my feels about I️t taking me so long. Just be happy for her and support her the best you can. And also enjoy the new little one. I don’t mean this rudely it’s meant as a joke but spoil him/her rotten they have to go back to mom and dad lol. Baby dust to you hun! Good luck!

Same thing happened to me and my sis. My DH and started trying before them, still with no luck, and their baby is now due any day now. Those conflicting emotions are so hard. The happiness I feel for her, but also the sadness I feel for me (and it's an isolating sadness, because who am I to bring down this joyful time in her life with my self-pity?). So, just know you're not alone, and you're allowed to feel whatever it is you need to feel. Your time will come. 💕
