Gender disappointment? Read please.

Question

If you are disappointed with the gender of your kid please. Please. Process your feelings and get over it before your kid can understand you. Its ok to feel disappointed, I get it. That being said, I was the youngest daughter, and I was "supposed" to be a son. A boy. I was supposed to be Aaron. And I felt guilty, AS A CHILD FOR BEING A GIRL. 
So please, get over your feelings and never mention your sadness that your child started out in the womb already not being good enough.

That being said, your feelings are valid just try not to project them onto your child! I was "supposed" to be a boy and on top of that my mom hit a really bad depression and I became completely unwanted by her. It was awful and I felt like I wasn't wanted as a child.

Im having my 5th girl, i wish she had been a boy, but i still love her so much. I wont raise her and remind her how she was meant to be a boy... im sorry thats happened to you. Gender disappointment is real though, but i am so blessed to have 5 gorgeous girls

I was sad. However I mourned the fact that this baby won’t be a girl and I moved on within 8 hours. My husband is beyond excited to have a boy and he reminded me that we created a baby together. That’s what is important. And I knew I’d be devastated if we lost our baby, boy or girl. I will never tell me son he was not wanted or expected. He will be loved no less.
