Walking up and down my stairs

So I’ve been wanting to do some form of workout but nothing too intense so I began walking up and down my stairs and i was wondering how effective could this be?

Let me tell you I went up and down my stairs for a full song that was like 3 minutes and maybe 40 seconds and I could feel my heart pounding and my thighs were beginning to burn ( I’m so out of shape)
