So I'm 20 weeks pregnant and I was outside in my back yard trying to get my dog back inside when I tripped over something in the yard, went flying, and landed right on my stomach. It knocked the wind out of me and hurt pretty bad even though the pain went away pretty quickly. I called my doctor and he said I should check the baby's heart rate with my at home doppler once an hour for a few hours and monitor for any changes. First doppler check the baby's heart rate was 150. I'm now sitting down dinking water and taking it easy and I've felt the baby move a couple of times. I'm still worried though because he said at this stage in pregnancy if the baby did get hurt there really isn't anything they can do. Has anyone else had a bad fall like this and everything was ok?
