Anybody have acrylic nails?

I have a picking addiction and i saw a suggestion abt getting acryllic nails
1. Can i get them if i have nubs for nails 
2. Whats the most...useable shape for work and school?
3. Price range?

I get coffin shape 
Mine are usually $27-30 but i get long nails short nails are are $20

You should be able to get them unless your fingers are bleeding. I think short oval would be best. 25-35 for a full set, $15-30 for a fill.

Yes, you can get them with very short nails. Start with a short set, as well. You can always keep the length as you grow them out.
I use my hands a lot at work, and I've found I prefer a coffin shape both aesthetically and for functionality. I think the more tapered shapes like coffin and almond are easier to keep.
Price range...I forget how much it cost to have them put on the first time, but that's typically the most expensive. My fills normally cost $30-40 before tip, depending on how many nails need repaired (they WILL break eventually. I've cycled through and broken every nail but one at this point and now since they're all basically new again they're holding up better) and that cost is about every 3-4 weeks for me.
