SOS NOT A DRILL

I'm on the pill and that's been the only protection me and my SO have been using this past month or so, aaand my period is at least a week late. My periods are damn irregular so it's hard to keep track of, but sis I don't even remember my last period it seems so long ago. I only missed one pill about a week ago but we haven't had sex since then anyways due to our busy schedules. So basically I'm freaking out and I cannot be pregnant I am not ready to be a mommy !

I'm so freaked out to take a pregnancy test, but should I just quit being a scaredy cat? Is it normal for my cycle to be a little wonky since I only started BC a few months ago?
