how to be a perfect girlfriend for a workaholic??

topic says it all, im just looking for some tips! how do you ladies do it??

Unfortunately it sounds like work will always come first. Even in marriage. Is this the relationship you want? I thought my husband was like this, but I realized that he’s working for the benefit of us. But didn’t realize it until we got serious and started living together. Now I’m pregnant so he’s definitely doing it for us. I support him and make sure we get quality time together. 
I do not clean his room, do his laundry or leave clothes out for him. We are a team. I do most of the grocery shopping and we cook together. Sometimes I clean, sometimes he does. When he does a lot around the house, it makes me want to do more for him. It’s a win win.

My husband is also a workaholic but his job pays for me to stay at home and look after our 2 young kids. He’s amazing at his job and I see him becoming very successful in a few years to come. 
We moved to the US over a year ago so I have no friends or family here so it’s been exhausting and very hard to say the least. But I am proud of my man even when he stays out of state or works through the weekend. I will continue to support him.

My husband is a chef who works 60+ hours a week and comes home at 1 am. It’s rough. I won’t sugar coat it. It causes a lot of problems where normally there probably wouldn’t be. We have to work all the time to not feel disconnected only seeing each other an hour a day. I put in a lot of effort to help this: I got a new job where I work when he does and I have the same days off as him. That time together is so precious when we do get it. I also make sure that no matter what, I’m always up waiting for him when he gets home so we can have a small amount of time to reconnect and talk about our days. We both have jobs where we have our phones on us, so during the day we text a lot and let each other know what’s going on and little things that happen. There’s no way it will work without more effort than you’d have to give a normal relationship.

I clean up his room for him, leave him out comfy clothes to change into when he gets home. I make his food for him when he meeds me to. Any little things he needs done I try to help him out. Massages after work
