5 weeks announcement too early?

I want to announce to my parents, in laws and sisters today. but I am only 5 weeks pregnant. is it too early? I only plan on telling the rest of the family and friends etc after 12 weeks. I want my family to be there to support through every step and I am REALLY bad at keeping secrets from my family haha.

No I don’t think so. I would definitely tell close family and reallllly close friends before 12 weeks then after that anyone

I told family and friends right when I found out (about the same time). There is no “right” time.. just right for you.

With my first pregnancy I didn’t want to tell anyone until the 12 week scan because of risks, my partner told his few mates at work and his ex gf??! 🤔 because she announced she was on facebook 🙄 but i was silly to say something in work which I regretted As i had my scan and it wasn’t viable pregnancy so personally i wouldn’t tell anyone until 12 week scan, i would Probably only tell my parents and my partners parents. you feel like a fool if something is wrong and then have to tell people what happened etc

I told my entire family when I found out both times around 4-6 weeks. Knowing the risks, me and my SO decided whatever happens, we want to experience everything with our family. We couldn't keep a secret anyway, and if forbid anything happened, but we would want our families support either way. It's up to you and/or SO and what your comfortable with.

It’s just up to you. I decided if I am pregnant again I won’t announce until about 10 weeks because of my loss.. Never to early
