Flu and breastfeeding. Please help
So my baby is almost 5 months. She’s been on strictly breast since she’s been born but now I have the flu. The dr said to pump and have her dad feed her by bottle. She’s taking the bottle pretty well no complaints but my issue is pumping. I’m simply not getting enough milk. I’m pimping every 2-3 hours and barely getting any milk and it’s exhausting! I read online that I can still breastfeed her if I wash my breast before feeding her and make sure there’s a clog between us. I don’t wanna risk getting her sick but i surely don’t wanna starve her either. I tried calling the after hours pediatrician but I can’t get through so I’m currently at a loss. Anyone else been through this? Any advice?
