Nursing pillow preference?

Please let me know why you prefer the one you chose. I was going to order a boppy nursing pillow until I started seeing a few people posting about the my brest friend pillow. Wanted other mom’s opinions before I purchase 😊

I bought a boppy and borrowed my breast friend from my sister and to be honest I don't use either for breastfeeding. I tried them both in the beginning, but I'm more comfortable just propping a decorative couch pillow under my elbow or using an armrest of the chair. I do use the boppy for tummy time or propping up baby while I read him books though so I still get use out of it.

I used both as well as the super high-tech propping any random pillow I had lying around under my arm 😊 if you want a designated nursing pillow, I’d say My Breast Friend — I thought it was sturdier and I liked that it had raised portions to help prop/position the baby’s head better and the strap around your waist prevents it from sliding away from your body. It was also the pillow of choice for the lactation consultants and Breast feeding classes at our hospital. However, the Boppy will last longer in that you can use it for tummy time, baby propping, etc. I felt hat it was better for those purposes than actually nursing. 
With that being said, I was given the My Breast Friend as a hand me down. I’m not sure if either product is something I would feel that I HAD to have for nursing if I needed to spend my own money for it. More of a “nice to have” versus a necessity.

I have both. For a first time breastfeeding mom...definitely my Brestfriend! It’s much more supportive. The bobby, the baby just rolls into you and it’s not very helpful. 
I like the bobby for sitting baby in and that’s about it. 
I don’t even use either of them anymore now that I got the hang of breastfeeding!
