Bleeding for 4 weeks

First time posting and just wondering if anyone else has been though this , started a really heavy period on the 26th nov to 6th dec but never really stopped as iv been bleeding on and off everyday since then. Went to the doctors who is sending me for an ultrasound in next 2 weeks as they suspect I have pcos, doctors said she’s never seen a case like mine where I just haven’t stopped bleeding and I’m not on any birth control as been ttc for 15 months. Can anyone help ?
