Is it too risky?

I found out that the travel system I am in love with is available in a blue color! I was so excited but then I saw it wont be released until june 15. With my due date being june 24th is it just too risky to pre order it? I know, i know, it's just a color but it would be cool to have it in blue 😁

You could pick up a used but good condition car seat from a yard sale to take baby home with.

That way you can have your dream car seat and not have to worry about when it comes. Plus, having an extra doesn't hurt.

The first few weeks you'll probably stay home with baby anyway. Then your nice new car seat will be there when baby is a few weeks old and you're more mobile.

That would be cutting it too close for my comfort. But then again, I would have already purchased one at your point in the pregnancy.

Most hospitals won't stop labor after 36 weeks. So just keep in mind that is 2 weeks before that car seat is shipped, let alone arrives in your possession.

And as other ladies have said, the hospital will not let you leave without a car seat.

Is it the uppababy? I pre ordered its supposed to ship June 15th however a lot of people have been saying their pre order keep getting pushed back ... Id order just make sure you can cancel & have an easy to aquire ( like local store) back up

That's cutting it close only because you need a car seat to leave the hospital. If you do pre order it make sure you have a back up plan.
