Love, Sex, and Problems

I want to have sex and fall for a guy but I'm paranoid. Some people can talk to a person then kiss them and I'm only worries about my health and whether the peron may or may not have any STD's or STI's. I've been told to quit thinking like that and open my mind and try but I honestly want to know the person who I may be talking to sexual history and information on thier health status. Does this make me weird or am I right. I'm still a virgin (as you probably assumed) but I don't want to be one forever nor lower my expectations (for my health). what dhould I do...HELP ME!!!
