UTI from hell

Did anyone else contract a UTI while in the hospital after your c-section? I gave birth almost 4 months ago and I’m still battling my UTI after trying 7 different antibiotics. I had an emergency c-section and I had HELLP syndrome with preeclampsia, which I didn’t recover from until 3 months after birth, so I had a catheter and a stent in longer than normal. I was prone to UTIs even before this happened, so I was really worried about the catheter and stent, but my doctor assured me that the antibiotics they were giving me through the IV would prevent any infection from happening. Well, here I am 4 months later and I still haven’t gotten rid of this thing! I know that any infection that you get from the hospital is bad, but this is just ridiculous! I haven’t been allowed to breastfeed because of the antibiotics. Anyone else go through this?
