Sex after over 6 month hiatus

Today my hubby and I finally had sex after months before the baby came! Now finally approaching three months postpartum; we attempted two weeks ago to no avail due to the immediate pain I felt when he was inserting his “” in. So I was just in a little pain and super uncomfortable and we just gave up. Come today we were able to go through the foreplay motions, and made it to the part where we got last time and stopped.... but this time with the aid of LOTS OF LUBE we made it to the point of no return. And might I say after a few moments of pain that wasn’t super unbearable I was able to get into it! I was so freaked out from the last time, I was super nervous thinking that we will never do it again and would remain to have a sexless marriage after baby. I’m just glad we got this one out of the way. I think it will only get better from here in the future. Today wasn’t the best of the best (due to me telling him to take it easy on me). But I now know thing can go back to normal after a grapefruit size head exits through there!
