TTC after a miscarriage....

After TTC for about 6 months we tested positive on a hpt, but then at about 9 weeks we miscarried. I bled for about 4 weeks. As the bleeding stopped I could tell I was ovulating again. My Dr said to wait until after  1 healthy cycle to start TTC again. I got my period on Saturday and it was normal. I wasn't expecting to get a period so quickly....it was only about 2.5 weeks after I stopped bleeding from the MC. Do you think it's okay to start trying again this month? Or too soon?
