GBS & breastfeeding

So I found out today I was positive for GBS (Group B Strep). My doctor prescribed me Amoxicillin to take now & I’ll be on IV antibiotics during labor. I done some research since I never knew I had this & I naturally wanted to know more about it. I seen that it is spread through the mother only to the baby by pregnancy, labor & nursing. I plan on breastfeeding (nursing) & I’ve had every intention of breastfeeding since I found out all the great benefits at the beginning of my pregnancy. I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant & id be pretty heartbroken if I can’t breastfeed, but I obviously won’t if it would hurt my baby. I know the antibiotics I’m taking now & the IV antibiotics I’ll get in the hospital are to prevent my baby from contracting GBS. It isn’t to cure me. I’m aware I’ll still continue having it even after my baby is born, but I’d still like to ask if it’s possible for me to breastfeed? Is there anything special I can take or do so I can breastfeed?
