PLEASE READ- SHE ASKED TO BE A GODMOTHER

I was going to ask my friend to be a Godfather to my little baby due later this year. I texted his girlfriend— who I tolerate but don't particularly care for— and asked if she could help me just get him somewhere where I could ask him. No biggie.

She proceeds to ask me if that means she's the Godmother?

For one, they're not married. I don't care for her because of past drama with her.

Anyway, I ignored her when she asked the first time. So fast forward to me telling my friend who is going to be the Godfather I'm pregnant (in a text, because I wanted him to know I was preggo before asking him to be the godfather). He responds with "So does that mean we're godparents?"

He told me that she wanted him to ask that. How do I politely say "hell no?"
