When do you know if its the right time???

thinking about starting a family but I have more fears outweighing my choice. how do you know when you're ready or the timing is right? is this a "ready or not" kind of thing

We never felt ready until I felt like we were running out of time- we were ready to try (for about a year) but just kept putting it off. Then one month my neighbors son passed away and I had always envisioned him playing with my kids so it was so overwhelming. Then my dog started having seizures the same month and the vet diagnosed home with a brain tumor. My future child's best friend now has an expiration date. So I was like, Omg we should already have a ton of kids, why are we waiting? We started ttc that next month. When you feel like it's a good time, just go for it. Don't wait until it's too late but also don't rush if you feel like it's a bad time.

I feel most people never feel ready. They want to be better off financial or have a bigger house or wait until they have that degree or dream job. But in that from of mind you will be waiting forever! However this is neither a rash decision! You and your SO should both agree and be in it together. Also keep in mind very few people get pregnant right away. It could take one month or one year. But as long as you and your partner are both ready and wanting it you can help each other through your fears!
